Sunroof often gets close to closing, then re-opens

I suspect I have a problem with whatever sensor stops the sunroof closing on fingers. It glides normally until just before the rear needs to drop down, and suddenly reverses - leaving me open to the elements!

I have found that by stopping it just as it is about to close I can restart it and it does close. However I would like to get this fixed whilst under a used warranty.

Vehicle is an 05 D3 HSE

Any ideas where to start looking?javascript:emoticon('Shocked')

If you have a warranty take it to either the supplying garage ,or local dealer if different.
