I spoke to Customer Service at Land Rover - It was a breath of fresh air - they are going to talk to the dealer straight away there was real urgency in her voice. She said it is definitly covered under waranty.
Thanks to all you guys for the advice.
I will let you know when the dealer contacts me.
Thanks

Hope they get it sorted out, I'd be pretty ed off with them.
You know what gets me, is their accusatory comment about 'you've been using it off road haven't you'
They sell the damned thing based on it's off road capabilities. I don't know of any other Marque that has Experience centres to prove it's capabilities, other than the soon to be opened Mercedes one at Brands Hatch.
Unbelievable. Keep us all updated and we'd still be interested to know which dealer it is (positive or negative!)
Makes me think I should contact CS (when I eventually get mine that is) and ask them for a survey form before I put it in for service. Now that's an idea...... : Bodsys Brake Bible

To which your answer should be 'Yes, are you telling me this vehicle isn't designed for off road use? If so I'd like a full refund as it's been mis-sold'The End

when sorted, you should name n shame them.
at least to stop other members from using their "services"I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Martin,
Is there anyway to get all these TSB's within the site into one grouping so we can easily find them, print them off and go "tooled up" to see the dealers ??
I dont have nay problems at the moment , but would like to think I can ensure I avoid as many as possible in the future.
CheersDuncan

Putting them all on the site might infringe some copyright ? but at least the TSB numbers and a brief description of the fault and solution? Maybe start a new section that can only be posted & not replied to so that it keeps them easy to find?Bodsys Brake Bible

TSB's are most definitely copyright, quoting the relevant bits of text doesn't seem to be an issue though, there are several posts quoting the relevant bits from most of the recent ones and there's a list somewhere of the historical ones

a lot of the topics in 'technical' contain quotes from TSB's... know what you mean but sometimes it's difficult to remember things like that once at 'full chat'

Just have to do a search on TSB & see what can be collated
What do you mean, you can't remember a specific process for an occassional discussion point after a few pints and a free flowing Disco discussion...? Just what is the world coming to Bodsys Brake Bible
