Fan blower

I too have the same problem! It started being an intermittent fan sounded like it was stalling, now it has packed in all together! I have tried the relay which appears to be fine as do the fuses!?
I've now removed the fan and tried to run it from a 12v Bty to test it to no joy??
However when I run the volt meter over the fan power plug there is no reading also no reading from the power that goes into the socket to the control module?? Big Cry
Any help massively appreciated thank you!!!

Have you checked the heater resistor? If you remove the motor and put power to it and it still doesn't work then it can only mean the motor is faulty.

rear heat wiring diagrams and pdf's

The link below is to an album of mine that has within a number of heater and air conditioner files.

In particular there are pdf's explaining the operation of the rear heating / AC system as well as wiring diagrams for both front and rear systems.

12 Volt Direct Current OK

Yes, to test the operation of the fan, all you will need is two wires to the fan, one being 12 VDC and the other being a ground wire.

Getting a good ground connection can be more difficult than getting 12 volt DC electricity.

The fan blades should rotate if the fan is OK and you have both the 12 VDC and a good ground connection.

R16 relay is the first option.
My system worked randomly; changed the relay and everything came back ok.

In the fuse box in the engine compartment; on the lid of the box shows the relays with numbers

I would not know; someone more knowledgeable than me will certainly respond.
The relay has been replaced or just taken off and put back?
