Blummin' torx head
Guess I need to invest in a set D3 incl. genuine glass windscreen, front bi-focal headlights, full width rear bumper, self levelling washer bottle contents and audible 'tick tock' indicator stalk
911 GT3 had one [never]
R8 V12 just gone [past me]
Piiss highest up a wall winner runner up 1979

I was expecting a drubbing for not having a torx set already D3 incl. genuine glass windscreen, front bi-focal headlights, full width rear bumper, self levelling washer bottle contents and audible 'tick tock' indicator stalk

2008 only 42000km (26000 miles), completely blocked/gummed up.
We really do need to find a way of blocking the EGR valves on the later models.

SHE'S GOT HER MOJO BACK!!!
Almost 600 miles today and she is back to her usual pre troubled self!! From Carlisle to J10 M25 350 miles was as below, prob 31 actual. Long cruise at 60 just to act as a comparison, plus LOW POWER MODE on hifi so didn't want to wear out what's left of the alternator! Only slightly weird thing was when I left the Tag lane on the M6Toll I just hit resume in CC to go from 30 to 60, apologies to the cars behind as she was smoking a lot! Still she's a lot better and didn't shut down, that's a result!

PS Prior to MAP clean up she would have returned 27mpg on the same trip and she'd probably shut down going up Shap or that hill on the M40 heading souff after Banbury.

Thought the black stuff had evolved over those 400k miles.
