Whilst on the subject of wires and arhrrs has gone for a pint. Havd you all decided to connect the orange wire so that the fbh shuts down on start up or have we decided to let it shut down itself?

Cheers Ceekay

I have mine connected and it shuts down in the normal sequence, no problems at all. Its good having it this way because you can do all sorts in the car and it won't make any difference until you turn the key to the FBH.

arhrrs

You need to contact Daniel and ask him where that wire goes you will then be able to run one in and wire it up, I know you should not have to do this but it will be the quickest way to get you up and running.

Did you just connect to the cig lighter feed like the red and white wire or did you use another live feed? Also when feeding the cable from the fbh through the grommet into the car which panels did you need to remove to get the wire over to the danhag electronics?

Thanks Ceekay

I also have it connected.

I connected it to the cig lighter and run a wire to the plug at the GSM controller

Same as flydive. You need to remove the panel covering the pedals and then the one under the steering wheel with the b*lls cooling vent on and the ones to get at the HVAC panel.
The wire just runs up from the grommet in to the radio part of the consul.

I decided to leave the orange wire unconnected for the reasons danhag mentioned in one of his posts. I trust that the engine electronics will shut the FBH down when necessary. And when it is cold enough (currently -19) the thing will fire up anyway again after the engine start. Here's the picture of my setup:

The system is now up & running Thumbs Up ...many thanks to everyone contributing to the learning curve Bow down

Found also the wiring-diagram at http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic57865-15.html very helpful (although the orange-wire-story is different there...)

Thank you te for posting that picture, that confirms that I do not have the yellow wire that is shown in the bundle of wires that need to be connected into the heater control circuit.
I need some advise from Danhag on how best to solve the problem or I need a new loom

Thank you all for trying to solve the problem

I have just noticed a difference with my loom, I have got an orange wire at D. Tim(te) where is your orange wire?

Could it be that they have used an orange cable instead of yellow?

Can anybody check where the yellow wire and orange wire that are in the fan control box plug (A) go to and what order are they connected into the plug.
