Read all the 47 pages - hard task 
As I bought my unit and I'm about to install it I got two questions - just to make sure:
1. Is it correct that you DON'T recommend connecting the unit to the aux battery?
2. In case there is basic software in the unit - is there any way to change it to pro to have the longer burning time? Wrapped Satin Yellow&Black; Lovells 2" Gas Legend Kit, OME hard springs. ATX 192 17" wheels with Cooper STT M/T tires. ProSpeed Roof Rack & Rear Ladder. Custom made underbody protection, front bumper, rock sliders, spare wheel and accessories mountings, drawer system. WARN 9,5XP Winch. Front and Rear Light Guards, Safari Snorkel. Hi Danhag users
Have a simple version installed (without HVAC control) which somehow stopped working. 
I can set it up, it responds to all SMS commands, but doesn't start the webasto 
I'm getting red LED every time I call it (or connect +12V to the green cable).
The webasto starts every time when the car is started in lower temperatures, but not when asked via the Danhag module.
I have also checked the yellow cable connection from the module to the second pin in the webasto plug, so as such the only thing that comes to my mind is that my module is broken 
Or possibly my battery voltage is too low (recently replaced) and measured 12.15V when car sleeps.
Done anyone have an idea what else can be wrong, or shall I charge the battery and try again? Do you know what is the minimum voltage for webasto to start? D3 XS Manual - gone

Thanks Martin, but the module registers to network and I get green bilking light etc OK, but it changes to red when I call it (and the module disconnects the call normally too, as if it switched the webasto on).
According to the Danhag instruction the red LED means "no response from webasto received" 
Will try different SIM though, just in case... D3 XS Manual - gone

I had this problem on mine and it turned out to be a short on the wire with an led I wired in to the fbh..

My LED is in its original place, so possibly not the reason.
I'm thinking on trying to replace entire yellow cable and opening the locking the pin 2 in the plug.....

| New Andriod App for GSM controller |

Hello Everybody,
I received an e-mail from "Car-Chief" this afternoon saying that there's a new Android App for the GSM controller.
If you search for "ParkingHeaterApp" in Google Play you'll find two :
ParkingHeaterApp DEMO and ParkingHeaterAPP(costs €4,90) [both from "Sievers IT-Technik"]
I've installed the DEMO and it looks like the only difference would be that the paid App doesn't introduce a delay before giving you a green button to press.
I didn't try the event manager yet but if this works then it's going to be useful for turning on the heater in the mornings and after work.
I look forward to hearing peoples experiences!

Looking at the car chief www I see that I have a GSM controller at about €230 and a Landrover IPCU kit (including wiring harness) at about €150. That only adds up to about €380, what am I missing that would take it to circa €600?

It won't be 600EUR. Should be around 420 with tax (MwSt) and delivery costs. The parts you are having should be ok. Just make sure you have red dot next to W-Bus option on the GSM controller - they've sent me wrong version at the beginning, but resend proper one without any issues.

I have the GSM controller (with a red dot on both the 'W-bus' and 'Alarm' options, the 'Basic' option has no dot) and a short, straight GSM antenna to screw into the controller.
I also have the IPCU unit (with the potentiometer to run the cabin fans), also in the box is a large wiring harness as well as x2 cables with the brown female 8 pin block on the end.
Lastly there is a 1533 timer and an instruction booklet that says 'Ab SW ver 29' on the front.
I can get pics but does that description give you enough to go on?
Just concerned that it doesn't add up to anywhere near the €600 mark, even with the unneeded Oval timer!

The €600 was my assumption based on the confusing Danhag/Car chief web site. Look a few posts later and it is worked out at around €399 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Looking at that website I've not got a clue what to order!! Talk about confusing.
All I'd want it to do is, preferrably, kick off the FBH and HVAC to heat the interior of the car off a remote.
If not then I'd use a mobile as a second option but would prefer just a remote control (saves hassle of SIM cards and them going inactive if you don't keep them with credit on, used in 60 days, etc.,)
