I have got black, brown, red, orange, green, black, purple
On my manual it shows 8 wires which include yellow and orange
I have found that the yellow wire from plug A is connected to the white/red to the cigerette lighter

well, do not believe that is correct, unfortunately I do not have a harness to compare, mine being installed and now is dark outside.
But as I installed it according to the instructions it should have been there.
Hopefully Flack or someone else is going to drop in with more informations.

What plug are you struggling with, is it the GSM harness or the IPCU harness end.

The long yellow wire ( for the FBH) comes from the GSM plug (B) and this has 7 wires in the plug with the purple wire being the missing one.
Plug A has all 8 wires, but I only have 7 wires at D with the yellow one missing, if I follow the yellow wire from plug A it travels down the loom as a single wire covered in the black tape and changes to the white/red wire at E
If I am right the orange wire is to be connected to the red/white for a live feed

Flack, It is the fan control box plug A which provides most of the wires at D for connecting, it is here at D that I do not have the yellow wire to complete the connections when you cut the yellow/red wire and join one side to green wire and the other to yellow ( which is not there)

ok bud have you stripped the black cover back in the loom to see if its been tucked in the there somewhere, it won't work without it. Can you take a picture of the loom so we can see it.

The yellow wire is at the IPCU plug but branches off on it's own after 6" in the main loom, it is bound in black tape and when it appears out of the tape it is white/red, you can feel the solder joint under the tape where the join is. It is the only wire in the taped run.

Hi bud the yellow wire goes to the connector block on the IPCU can you see it on the connector end . Just stripped mine down and its defo there.
It looks like they have made the wire to short if its connected to the yellow wire then connect the red/white to the other end of the HVAC connector

It is at the connector block. All 8 wires as there should be.
If you follow your white/red wire back from the cigerette lighter where does that go?

My white / red wire goes in to the loom and I think the white/ red wire is connected to the black wire that is on the plug I think. The red white wire opens the vents to let warm air in.

My white/red wire is definitely connected to my yellow wire. I will see if I can see where the black goes.
