Glad I didn't get around to installing mine now. The (complete lack of) customer service many people seem to be getting from them is appalling and a bit worrying. Doesn't inspire much confidence for someone about to install this thing... 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)

Its not great to say the least is it. Was just thinking though has anyway tried converting their email into german using google translate. Im sure they said somewhere that there was only Daniel that spoke english and that would maybe slow the response down abit?

Do you mean its gone even more or is it still the fans that are permanently live?
Strange no response for this long, Daniel seemed to post something every couple of days for a while or so. Doesnt sound good?

The problem is that with it being all wired in you can't just pull the fuse because what happens then is it seems to confuse the car and you get all sorts of funny things happening.
Sometimes I get heat then nothing but cold, then the main fan switch can become un-responsive, and worst of all if I don't remove the fuse it will just flatten my battery.
I have even tried just unplugging one unit but that makes it worse because how its wired up.
I can't believe a Company of this size can be so bad on after sales service, you would think they would make the effort knowing how many non sales potential it would create for them with the lack of support.
very poor

I would suggest that the amount of negative feedback they're getting on this forum will pretty much guarantee no further sales from other users at least. But maybe they're too busy getting drunk with our 10 grand to care... 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)

You must be well pi**ed off!
Makes me think twice now about even installing it which I was hoping to attemp in the next week or so?
I already have a battery drain without creating another.
Hope they get back to soon pal otherwise we could have a group drive to Germany!

Just got Daniel on the phone.
The last kits shipped today.
Also, I asked him to drop in the forum, have a look and give answers.

I understand you guys getting frustrated by all this.
That what I was told on the phone just before posting.
If my case is an example, On dec 20th I was told that the kit was shipped.
I received a mail from Hermess, with tracking # on dec 22nd.
Acording to the Hermess page the shipping order was given on the 17th, kit was pickked up on the 22nd, on 23rd the package was sorted and on the way to the responsible Hermes office.
Then nothing till the 29th, a bunch of info/movements, first attempt of delivery on the 30th
Hope Daniel can give more info when he drops in.

Yes bud its on all the time, I have emailed and even rang them about it but had no contact back yet.
I have just turned the potentiometer right off for now to stop the fans running as it was flattening my battery all the time. I think the GSM is stuck in fan on mode and no matter what I try it does not work so looks like a replacement GSM .

Dear Flack,
i was just informed by "flydive" about your problem with the fan-control-output.
Which e-mail did you use as i haven't received any yet!?
Do you have the possibility to measure the voltage between the black-wire from the GSM-remote-control and ground? There should only be +12V as long as the heater is running. If there are permanently +12V, the output-MOS-FET could be defective. If so, I will send you an replacement-GSM-Remote-control as fast as possible. To disable the fan-control-output, you can cut the black wire wich leads from the GSM-remote-control to the heater-control-box.
As to the delivery problems ...
First of all, i would like to apologize for the trouble caused.
There where some serious delivery problems due to the heavy snowfall, maybe our choice of the shipping company wasn't the best too. They need a couple of days only for preparing the shippment and post the tracking-id via e-mail. We get about 50-60 e-mails per day but i will do my very best to answer as fast as possible. I posted a summary of the FAQ a couple of days ago so there is a chance that some questions are answered already.

My pm's to you are stuck in the out box so I have emailed you .
Yes I sent a few emails from the contact page from the Danhag website, I have no other email address to contact you. I also tried a phone number and all I kept getting was an answer machine.
But to my problem yes I have a permanent 12 volts on the black wire so can you send me a replacement GSM a.s.a.p please. Everything else works ok just the fans continually running drain my battery, I am thinking of putting the main feed to my auxillary battery can this be done.
Flack .
