Yipeee, all installed and working thanks to 10forcash! and the forum of course just in time for summer
I have only had one odd episode, after leaving it to run 15 min and interrupting it my D3 struggled to start and then I had no accelerator as it chugged for a minute or two until suddenly coming back to its full former glory with a hearty roar, allowing my BP to drop back toward the acceptable levels all good since. 2005 TDV6 HSE, Dual battery (TFC) with 1000w inverter,
Fitted finally, rear ladder and mantec plate - wow too easy
To be fitted : Thinking about ARB bumper

Is there an iPhone app that will dial a telephone number a at a requested time? Would be useful. Loving the power of the TDV8!

I searched the net and apples site to try to find one but could not find anything suitable.. I had the same idea.
No reply from Danhag about my problem, anybody got a more direct way to get intouch with them...

I believe Wiggs used an app on his iPhone to activate his GSM unit on the FBH only mod. I remember him showing a D3 as the App icon.

Think your right, Wiggs has an icon of a LR on his phone that he just pressed to start the fbh up but not sure it was a timer as such? Most of the apps are to do the text in advance but just remind you to send it instead of actually sending it. Think Wigg's son made the app for him and was hoping it might do me a copy for mine
Aparently i think its android phones that are able to do it at the mo?

I have an icon on my Iphone that I just tap from the home screen I have it on the bottom where the ipod icon is, I just press that and the FBH fires up, the app I use for that is called contact, you go through a setup that adds a short cut to your person you want to call , it then creates an icon that you place where you want it on the iphone . Not the greatest of ways but it works, I have all my family members done this way for speed dial.

I think that's right Ceekay, the app is called 'Tap to Call', you can assign any picture or image to the number and have it as a screen icon. No timer ability as far as I know.

There is something similar for Nokia, but is not free, about 2 pounds.
Look for "call alarm" in Ovi store
Did not download it yet.

Flack: is the black output (+12v out) from the gsm permanently on ? if so unit could be forked.
sorry just read previous posts
so the gsm unit is forked, send it back. or maybe play with the potentiometer a bit (dirt or condensation) There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

Yes bud its on all the time, I have emailed and even rang them about it but had no contact back yet.
I have just turned the potentiometer right off for now to stop the fans running as it was flattening my battery all the time. I think the GSM is stuck in fan on mode and no matter what I try it does not work so looks like a replacement GSM .
