Love the smell, why does it remind me of airports and not of ice-cream vans?

Mine hasn't fired up over the last few mornings and it should have, so out with the faultmate and it was locked out, so faults cleared and hey presto FBH fired up.
Mine has never smoked a lot, even on the first of the season.had to get down at the front and look and it was working well Thumbs Up

The only noise I can hear, is a quite hiss and a prominent humming sound. I was putting this down to the compressor kicking in for the suspension as it was in access heigh, but this happens before I do anything with the suspension. Is this my FBH?

cheers

Apart from the obvious warmth and slight smell I wouldn't know mine was on.

I had to reach down in the wheelarch to see if the exhaust was hot just to make sure.

It certainly doesn't smoke, and the sound is very quiet.

I have been getting a humming sound after turning off the engine only when its cold (around 5c) outside. It seems to last for a minute or two after engine is off. As the noise only occurs when cold, could that be linked to the FBH? (maybe a cooling fan or something still running for a few minutes after)

e.g. is that a noise that I should expect to hear when its cold?

As above,

I noticed mine was still put put putting away last night when i turned it off !

Got down under the wheel arch and felt rhe exhaust and hot gasses were comming out. I thought it was a bit odd as they come on when Cold to assist heating up as oposed to coming on when Hot to assist cooling down ?

Strange.

I could do with a remote to switch mine on i dont like the idea of a GSM based module it sounds too complicated Confused
