Hi Wiggs, I'm new to this scene. Having rakes of problems with my 06 Disco but one new one which has come to light in the last week is the infamous HLDF can Bootloader problem! Any chance you could send me the link for the software fix also? Thanks in advance.

Wiggs,
Thank you for the link...it cured my HLDF Bootloader screen, but now the CD-Changer keeps activating- trying to play a disc even with no disc inside and keeps switching between Radio and CD-Changer every 5-6seconds.
Going to just disconnect the cd-changer and hope that cures the problem.
(I tried removing the changer- magazine, but the radio is still intermittentflashing an "A/V OFF" message on the dash when it cuts the radio every 5 seconds.) Thought it was just a software failure because of the HLDF screen, but seems like a logic board or capacitor is blown somewhere...struggle
Any insight?
(It is an 05 - I have an 06 Supercharged that is sitting and am thinking I may just swap the Head unit from the 06 in but if it is more simplistic fix - I'm all for one)

Thanks Wiggs - however now I have the DVD - there seems to be no power to the DVD player. I cannot insert/eject any dvds. The fuse seems to be fine and power in at the back.
Do I probably need a new nav DVD?
Thanks,
Stuart
