Had this problem with my 54 disco. Asked my local dealer who had not heard of it before. They contacted landrover technical who offered no help, didn't know anything about it. All this took 3 weeks, eventually the dealer suggested that we disconnect the battery for 2 minutes. Did this but as we thought still had the same problem. After searching on this forum I found a post by the Large One. We contacted him and he immediately sent us the download which we burnt to a DVD. I put this in the Sat Nav DVD unit and let it download (but didn't leave the ignition on) so it didn't complete. Tried again with the ignition on and after about an hour our sat nav was restored, brilliant. What a great guy the Large One is!!!!

Hello, I've got a D3 54 at the sat nav screen is sat at a white screen with HLDF can bootloader error. Tried all of the obvious unplugging battery stuff but no luck. Is there a CD/DVD out there or does it need a faultmate load of something?
Any ideas to not have to go cap in hand to a dealer appreciated

Hi
I've got an update disc for my sat nav. I've tried installing it and it's not working. Do you need to do soething else to get it to download? I've tried leaving the ignition on for over an hour and it's still not downloading.
Cheers

It's not a sat nav disk that's needed ... You need a boot loader disk ...
It basically reinstalls the curupt software in your screen via the navigation DVD player ... Takes about 45 mins G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Who can knows as to make the given problem by means of diagnostics??? Is IDS 121. We begin a session, we define malfunctions of a network, and FECM. Further, the recommended means are loaded.
We choose in addition, and to configure Front Entertaiment control module. IDS it is connected to the car, defines the established equipment, finds files for the equipment, then starts to copy files in the car, thus writes that 50 minutes In 2-3 minutes navi the block are required is initialized, loading stops, has changed nothing. In what here a problem??? Can other version IDS is necessary??

Hi everyone,
This is my first post in this forum so please excuse any amateurish behavior, on the other hand I've been an almost daily visitor for the last few months, constantly amazed at your collective knowledge and friendliness.
Now to my problem: I got the " HLDF can bootloader waiting to download"-problem and therefore need the YIA 500010 disk or a downloadable imagefile of the disc to fix the problem.
Dealer here in Gothenburg Sweden has not been helpful at all, I'm afraid.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Cheers,
/Fredrik
