Hello Wiggs I would appreciate if you could send me through PM or email a link to download the software firmware to burn on the DVD I believe I can get it to upload by following you detailed instructions on how to do it

Is that with the BMW type nav or LR3 type nav? Guessing it's LR3 type if it's giving that error. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

You are probably correct, it has a six disk changer in the glove box and the nav disk is currently inserted in the rear unit but of course it's not reading because of the faulty firmware, if any of this helps...

Funny the HSE is at a mechanic shop right now that said there is no fix and the unit needs sent to California state to a repair shop might well sent it to England

I'm having the same problem with my 54 Reg LR3. Having read many posts on this forum, it seems I need the DVD. Wiggs can you send me the link to download the ISO so I can make the DVD. Or if anyone can help. Thanks
