Sorry for the confusion, yes it does pair with my I phone 4S now, it just doesn't show the phone book or missed calls or dialled history etc... I also have to manually pair everytime using 2121.

Hi Wiggs. Hope you can confirm receipt of my £60? Please advise when I might expect the swap out module.
I'm very uncertain about being able to locate and swap out the module so hope your instructions are for 'Dummies'.
Also was unsure whether to ask for 1/2 or 3/8 socket. Can you please send both as I didn't even understand what one is!!
Many thanks. Frank.

Frank, 1/2" is the size of the socket of the Torx bit for the seatbelt bolt. What size socket set (ratchet) do you have? 1/2" or 3/8"? Bodsys Brake Bible

Wiggs - sounds like your BT module exchange should cure my need to pair iphone every time I get in the car (55 HSE). What's the waiting time like at the moment? I need to book car in to the stealers to replace rear seat belts after the dog chewed them so thought I could get them to swap the module over while they have the trim off.
Thx Rob

Don't need to go through all that for the BT Module, I just undo the seatbelt bolt and remove the cover for the philips headed bolt further up the panel, remove the bolt and then just pull away from the edge. You should be able to get your hand in enough to undo the BT module and the connectors.
But if your doing the seatbelts as well, then yes Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi Wiggs.
Installed the new upgraded module in my 06 HSE D3 today.
As Bud (a new member) has reported elsewhere, I had the usual problem of no address book and the extremely irritating task of having to pair my iPhone 4 with code 2121 each and every frigging time I got into the car.
I took it to my local LR dealer who conducted a failed attempt to upgrade the BT firmware but still charged me £60.00.
They then told me that it could not be fixed and my best option was to buy a Parrot system from them.
So, via this forum I arrived at the exchange service from Wiggs and paid my £60 for it on Monday and it arrived today.
Now I'm not the most skilled person at DIY tasks but even I managed to perform the change over of modules quite easily in about 30 minutes.
And I'm delighted to be able to report that 2121 is now HISTORY!!!
AND I have my phone book!
So to Wiggs and thank you very much.
KRs Frank
