thanks for your help i think i will go to parts department and buy module if they have one ? unless you could sell me one ??
then i will fit and see if it works if not and they have turned it off world war 3 will start with LR
Let me know if you can supply me wiith a module ??
i know you suggest d4 module is it worth purchasing one of them ? ( if so would you have part number ?)

OMG, this new module is frikkin amazing. Took 10 mins to install and instantly my phone connected and my phonebook downloaded to the car. Now whenever i unlock the car and I have my phone with me, it automatically connects and away we go - bloody superb. (just like the wifes 5 series BMW)
The old unit left the US on Tuesday 2nd Jan back to Blightly.
Best money I've spent on the car - period.

Hi, I have an '07 Range Rover Sport HSE and can't see the phone book or auto pair my I phone 4s. Do I need to swap out the module or get new firmware? How easy is it to complete as I'm not the most technical person about.
Appreciate any help you can give.

I presume you were able to see it on other Phones. Did you use 2121 to code on other phones?
Changing on RRS is just through the rear access Panel in the boot (RH side) and a Torx20 screwbit. Very simple.

Hi Bodsy, yes I used the code 2121, I only picked up RRS a couple of weeks ago so haven't used any other phone with bluetooth. I trust the link allows me to order relevant module shows me me how to swap it out. Really appreciate this as dealer quoting ridiculous amounts to update for me.

so have you ever connected any phone to it? You're sure you have one?
Go to the boot and on the right hand side of the boot is a door/hatch. Look in there and you shoiuld see a black module with a large connector and a small connector with probably an orange cable coming out of it.
One Torx20 bolt in the middle is all it needs to swap it out (and unclip the connector obviously)
If you have an older phone, try pairing with that as Wiggs won't want your module if it doesn't work at all! 
The link is the same Module (there is only one module that can be updated, but it has several different part numbers over the years). Yours is same as D3. Bodsys Brake Bible
