Hi
Yes its compatable .
I will send you a bluetooth module programed with the latest software . You swap it , test it and then send the old one back to me ( you cover the costs )
I will send when you pay ..normally there next day ..but with the weather at the mo ..i would allow a couple .
Yours is fitted behind a removable panel in the rear drivers side . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Wiggs,
I take it all repairing issues get resolved with your clever BT swap out unit.. Awesome!
I am in George, Western cape, South Africa, what would you charge for unit to be sent to me? Gareth

Hi Adrian,
Is the exchange module you're offering a D4 one, or a D3 with latest software updates installed ?
I have a module as fitted by LR about a year ago, so I assume it was up to date then, but still have pairing issues, some time it does, sometimes it can't be bothered, sometime I get a phone book, other times nothing etc etc (usual story) and was wondering if your updated one will cure these problems
Phone is a HTC (new one)
Cheers,
Steve Never get mad - get even !!
06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k
previous vehicles:
04 D2 TD5 - (clocked 189k from new)

these are d3 modules with the latest software ..
The HTC seems to be the most problematic phone about at the moment
If you had a module about a year ago ..i would suspect that to have the latest software . Have you tryed with a different phone to see it if that works ok G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

These people have signed up , but not payed
Unfortuantly im not going to sent a module untill you do .
I will leave your names on till tommorow morning , then i will remove them , as it just mess's up everything . You need to pay when you sign up as i can then keep track of everything .
If you want to do it at a later date , please sign up again

Hi - my Bluetooth isn't pairing with my Blackberry 8310. It's a 54 plate HSE and the handbook says the Bluetooth code is 0000 so I presume that it's an aftermarket kit. What do I need to do to get the Bluetooth working?

Thanks to Wiggs I'm now all bluetoothed up! My iphone 4 pairs fine with the bluetooth and the sound quality is superb, Im well happy!
I got a new steering wheel and the buttons from The Large One, great service at a great price and the module and a MOST cable of Wiggs. Piece of cake to fit then Wiggs enabled it all for me and updated everything. Great service and well worth the money.
Thanks Wiggs!

Wanted to say thanks to Wiggs for super speedy service he provided with supplying me the exchange box, ordered Thursday, delivered Saturday and posted back mine today. A great turn around!
Wish I could say it only took me 20 mins to fit but was over apprehensive with removing the panel for fear of breaking the clips! Anyhow, an hour later, one nasty bleeding scratch to forearm and a bent back bleeding finger nail to right index finger, everything was fitted and working
For the sake of possibly helping other in the same boat I can confirm that the exchange box cures any pairing issues with the HTC Desire running Android 2.2 and all updates.
When I first got the phone 10 months ago or so it was running Android 2.1 and worked just fine with my March 06 D3 with PTI - presumably original factory software.
Following my phones over the air update to Android 2.2 the phone developed a frequent rebooting issue but still continued to work just fine with the PTI.
Unfortunately the rebooting got so frequent I had to send it back to HTC.
On return from HTC there was now a pairing issue with the PTI. If I missed the initial request to pair the communication was lost between Land Rover and phone. I had to delete it and start again. Also needed to key in the code each time and success was flakey!
Anyhow, bottom line is that the exchange has cleared things up again. Perhaps I should send the bill to HTC
