I have a 2008MY D3. Can you supply the Range Rover BT module as I'd ideally like to acess the phonebook via the touchscreen.

FAO Wiggs just tried to pm you , but wasnt aware of the 3 posts before pm option is enabled
Below is a copy paste of the pm i was sending..............
Hope you dont mind this post, thanks ,Nick
Hi adrian,
Having just recently purchased a D3 HSE 06 model, i have found this site a wealth of information, and it has already taught me things about the D3 i was not aware of, 8) and laid rest to many concerns relating to regular faults, that are solved easily or arent as bad as first feared.
I have gathered from reading many posts that you are the source of knowledge with regards the tech/electronics side of things, and after to speaking to Nick (TLO) at yeovil regarding my bluetooth pti issues,(basically my I phone pairs with the car, but will not auto connect , which means pairing every time i enter the car, which is a ballache) he recommended i contact you and try one of your Modules exchanges.
I have just registered on the site to attain your bank details, and have just sent the bank transfer of £60 to your account (titled, bluetooth mod exchange)
Please could you confirm you have recieved payment when you get chance to check, and maybe let me know if you have stock, or if not when you are likely to have some......
Many thanks, Nick Procrastination is the thief of time!!

Thanks very Adrian , much appreciated.
Only had her 2weeks and was totally bored of the whole pairing on entry procedure
Amusingly though, according to Stratstone Hull , it's nothing to do with the vehicle sir, it's your phone, software upgrades aren't available and wouldn't help even if they were!!
Cheers, Nick. Procrastination is the thief of time!!

Hi Adrian,
Module turned up this aft, thanks very much.
Only downside is , is does not appear to work
Phone finds no devices when searching with Bluetooth.
Re-fitted old module and no problem, found it straight away , tried new one again, just the same, no devices discovered.
I shall remove the new one again, would you like me to return it tommorrow???
Many thanks , Nick.
Or if I am missing something totally obvious, please call me on 07930370220, cheers. Procrastination is the thief of time!!

It does have a green sticker yes, the problem is it doesn't pair, the Bluetooth/phone just says searching for devices ( it normally says Landrover , when it's found the car so to speak, I then press to connect, then put in the pin, which I always have to do twice, then it's connected, though won't auto connect ever, hence your upgrade)
With your new unit , the phone basically can't find it , if you see what I mean, so I never got as far as pairing the two together. Procrastination is the thief of time!!

Have you tryed letting the car go to sleep after fitting the module ?
Then unlock and search again ?
Silly question but is there is 2 connectors on your module? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Unnecessary quote removed
Hi, hadn't tried letting her have a nap, and yes there are 2 connectors.
Just been out and re-fitted it, will let her sleep while I do and try again tommorrow, actually, later on this morning
on the way to work.

Hi Wiggs,
I finally made the investment and bought myself an MSV2. I am playing with it for a week now so still a newby. In the ccf settings it says "Fitted with voice control (hosted via the multi-media module)" does that tell you something? Strangely the ccf also says:Cellular Telephone Voice Language:UK English, where as I press the voice control button on the steering wheel, a lady speaks french also a french message appears on the message screen when she can't make anything of my french. Speech control language says "0" in ccf
Concerning the BT on my MY07 D3: without having made any modifications, my iphone's phonebook shows perfectly on the radio screen. I never had pairing issues. But I can't get the phonebook on the message center. Pressing the green button on the steering wheel enables me to redial the last number but that is shown on the radio screen.
How can I check if I have the latest firmware in the bt module with the msv2?
Cheers Bernd

Morning!!
Most excellent ..... The sleep has done her good, found the car and paired straight away
A couple of questions though, as mentioned by berndv above, mine only displays on the radio and not the dash, green button only calls last number, also when scrolling through the phonebook on the radio display, is there anyway of seperating various numbers held under one name ? E.g Nikki ( the wife) home , work , mobile, or will I have to enter new contacts so I can actually choose them from the visual display on the radio screen.
Many thanks for the assistance wiggs
cheers , Nick. Procrastination is the thief of time!!
