you can actually fit the 12 led module above the rear door and 30 module one in the centre interior lights. I fitted them and wow what a difference - very very bright !

Anybody got any pics of an Alpacca interior with these fitted. I cannot decide wether to go full led or stay with the nice warm glow.

I got the manufacturer to make them in warm white - brighter than the halogen less power and not so cold like the cool white. Down to individual choice but mines on warm white
The new 13 LED side light bulbs are even brighter 8)
Thanks for all the great feedback
I am just about to test some new H11 fog lights, H8 cornering lights plus some canbus indicators. I finally have some high quality front capless indicator bulbs and i do plan on doing a bulb pack for the rear lights but there are some many options for cost and full version or just part its hard going. When i get the new bulbs tested over weekend of 14th May i will feedback and add some more packs.
The red led for map light is amazing i have to say - no glare!

I'll second the red LED for map reading,
So bright and clear yet so unobtrusive

Can anyone advise on the issue of the body control module not seeing the led lights?
I know on BMWs and Minis that even when not fitted with "monitoring" features they know when the bulb is out / led fitted.
My concern comes having seen some cars being investigated following an accident, data regarding the lights being on and working is recorded along with your speed and steering angle etc would it be possible for the data recorder to think you have lights out and then display this info when investigated?

The ECU does not monitor the lights on the D3 or RRS for on or off failure for sure.

i think so - but maybe someone wiser than me can confirm - Wiggs?
Received and fitted a 10 LED 6000K unit from HIDS4U to complete upgrade of Interior lights - already had LEDs fitted but gave a blue cast to the interior at night so decided to change to full on white - end result is 8) and well worth it

Can you believe i still dont have mine in the D3 - as i gave them to another member. but plan on fixing that and also testing the front capless indicator bulbs and the mega 92 LED reversing lights and canbus indicator leds next weekend - as i am finally back in the uk this week
I have a bunch of other LEDs arrived and will review these and get them on the site and post feedback here also - inc H8 and H11

Evening all
I finally have a D3 with the LED modules fitted and even some 13led side light bulbs fitted in 2 of the door cards.
I went for the warm white - and must say the amount of increased light is staggering over the 5w bulbs. Me being me - i measured the power consumed by the LED units and the 30 LED module only uses 2.4watts and the 12 LED module in the boot uses 1.2 watts.
I also replaced the other interior lights with the new 13 LED 501 bulbs and these consume about 1w of power
One of the reasons i wanted to do it was to reduce power as my battery goes flat far too often whilst packing the car for a trip! The number of 5w bulbs is scary - and i havent quite replaced them all yet.
I have the amber ones to replace the side indicator lights and finally finally i fitted the capless front yellow indicator bulbs - 92 LED amazingly bright - but they do still need the resistors in our cars despite them working on other cars (E90) with canbus without. But results are amazing. Will post pics and prices shortly
