Before 5w 501 w5w
After warm white 2.4w 30 LED module
This is what the unit looks like - held in place by the 3m double side tape, and the left bulb is the new 13LED and the right is the red 1.5w extreme LED:
And in the boot the 12 LED ultra bright module fits best by removing one of the 3m pads and snuggly placing it under the bulb holder:

The D3 does not monitor the bulbs so canbus type not required

Grunders I did the same and went for these nice chrome ones on eBay - search for XTEC CHROME AMBERÂ 3156 WEDGE INDICATOR BULBS and they work great. You just have to file or cut the side lugs off to fit ! Cheap too !

Yes we have them finally. The 3156 92 led and it's amazing. Slightly brighter than than halogen and more orange
Just fit one in mine. Resistor is needed still
Will post link to YouTube later to show difference when they flash so much more instant than the traditional bulbs
Fitted LED tail/brake lights in 2006 after the originals started to blow. The LEDs are still going strong after almost 5 years. Replaced the front sidelights last year and have just finished replacing the number plate lights together with most of the interior lights. I can now see what's in the boot when it's dark and have nice new red map reading lights . I'm not going to bother with the footwell lights or the puddle lamps (well, not yet anyway ).
I've got the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) on my car and I wouldn't mind changing the 'static bending lamps' for LEDs. I think they're 'H8s'. Hids4u has H8s on his website but it seems they're not 'road legal' so I suppose my car would fail its MOT if I fitted them .
Has anybody replaced the reversing lights and rear fogs? What did you use?Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

I have fitted the H8 to my cornering lights - and they are very bright 300+ lumens like the Halogen but not used them in anger. they look the dogs
The legal issue is to cover us as no H version bulbs have CE in LED format - as the beam patterns cant be matched. But as the corner lights are not tested by anyone in any test i doubt there is an issue.
Above link is forum price - bulbs in warm white, white and amber. i have them in the interior lights and door cards and just replaced sidelights with them in white 5k. Change the side markers to amber also so not many bulbs in the car that are not changed yet
My sidelight LEDs (the ones that preceded your latest offering) were fitted before my last MOT and the car passed no problem. In fact, the tail/stop LEDs have passed the last 3 MOTs
Regarding the cornering lights, legality issue aside, my only concern would be - would they dazzle other drivers. If I fitted some now, they're not likely to be put to the test for a while. Having said that though, they're not generally on for very long so sod it - I might just order some.
Which H8s have you fitted Ian?Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

the rest are just to look pretty but give b all light
My car is in the garage getting a few bits done and whilst its there they will fit the front number plate surround with built in forward facing camera. should get it back on saturday and will post images and go out in the dark
the cornering lights glare a bit - halogen ones i mean - but as you say on for a few seconds only less than 40km/hr
