New A-pillar trim clips should be used when refitting them, they probably won't have any (even though they should) so probably worth getting a few from TLO
Personally I'd insist on an OEM screen tooThe End

worth checking he remembers to put your tax disc national trust etc back in the new one..one wife.......livid

I'm on my secong AG screen as the first replacement the nearside elements did not work. All fine now and looks the same. After all it's only a bit of glass to keep the wind off and the bugs out your teeth

RUBBISH, its a cop out Neil..........I got a OEM screen for a extra charge of £75 from Autoglass in Ashford. Had to return to another Autoglass depot a few weeks later cos the fitter didnt fit NEW Clips or Trims.
ALL AUTOGLASS SCREENS WHETHER OEM OR COPY ARE SUPPLIED WITH NEW CLIPS AND TRIMS.
Had this confirmed from head office after the scrren leaked onto my MFB and cos a short smoulder, they paid for full repairs and a letter of apology

Had mine done on tuesday. Pilkington one is fine. Make sure he connects the auto wiper and auto dim mirror wires. Mine didn't !! All good now though.

Aleged that the screen is from the same supplier and spec (Pilkington) its just not got the LR badge on it. Still heated / green tint and light sensor etc etc.
Copy screen is different mate, the black border is larger and viewable from the inside, elements are noticable and more spaced out, the element connections either side of the screen are in view as for some reason the piller trim does'nt cover the gold strips.
Neil, get onto them and get onto your insurance, tell them it has to be OEM
