Is my park brake knackered? It has screamed only the once and since it happened i haven't used the brake, just left the Disco in park. I did get one wheel off and clean in and around the park brake gubbins but didn't have time to do the other side, my wife then gets in the Disco today and applies the hand brake it screams and gives her a message along the lines of "park brake failure" in drivers info panel, she takes the brake off and reverses then into neutral then re-applies the hand brake and no screaming or messags in the info panel!
Can anyone offer any guidance or reasoning behind this? And does this smell of knackered park brake?

Mega, I will have to give it a go. Is there a thread for adjusting on hear? or am i better getting fleeced at the stealers? Just found the EPB adjust thread!

I do have TFC coming to do a service on the beast in july can i leave it until then? or is this not reccommended, as said i haven't used it for a week or so, without any dramas.
