Well I don't know what to believe, My Stealer tells me no sump plug and 15k service But then again when I picked the car up I asked about service interval to be told that the car would inform me along the same manner as my ranger rover did..
It really doesn't inspire confidence...

Only got my D4 3.0D 10 days ago and got a call from the Stealer yesterday to get this computer/software upgrade Can't believe that it came off the production line three weeks ago without this upgrade; nor that they need it for 5 hours Club D4 XS

The actual upgrade for the full works is only supposed to take 2 hrs 10 minutes (or that is what LR will pay the dealer for). For a more recent vehicle, that should be less. Depends upon the VIN of your vehicle what you get done.

Does anyone know how this is progressing & when they are scheduled to be completed.
I've not heard anything from my dealer yet & it would be nice to remove the spare battery pack from the boot.

Just had mine done by the local dealer, not the one i bought it from as i had the dreaded reduced performance amber traingle, still took 3 weeks to get the car booked in after the fault appeared though. Didn't get the free goodies of wine etc as others have mentioned or been contacted by the supplying dealer saying i needed this work done 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

Get on to LRCS and complain - I took mine to a local dealer rather than the supplying dealers and still got the gifts and service I would expect - thank you LR Stratstone of Cheltenham
LR should be contacting all customers direct after the assurance work done to make sure you had the gifts as promised
if you haven't then i would gently remind the dealer who done it, if no good get onto LRCSTLO has left the building.......

Yeovil LR supplied mine, but Stratstone Cheltenham did the Assurance work and I got the gift without asking.

Had mine done today at TLR. They had the vehicle from 0830hrs until 1500hrs but can't say how long that they worked on it. Any how, all the work completed as per the the AP and choice of Wine/Chocolates and Cake as I left the vehicle with them. Full valet - and the loaner was a RRS. (I'm glad that I didn't buy one of those).
