*puts on coat* I quite like the RRS If I could justify having both I would. Of course it would have to be the SC one tho Sceen name use to be "wantsanlr3"

I got my Dads Disco 3 when he got a RRS. He likes his new car, didn't seem to at first but whenever he gets back in the Disco he always comments how he still likes it. Basically the same car, just the RRS feels a bit more car like.
They charge more for it because some people just want one and wouldn't consider buying a Discovery
Obviously the Disco is better

If I had a maid to do my fetching and carrying she would be built for the task, not a looker but a grafter, and definatley not as costly as my loved one, a creature of great beauty and elegance, which, when and out and about gets admiring glances from many afolk, who appricate art and form and know that for that, no price is too high to pay D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

To be fair...I would probably do the same if I could as well... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Any other model is all about looking like you have a large nob but not as large a nob as a Full Fat owner

Surely by saying that you would buy the RRS if it was the same price as a D3, then you can answer your own question. Although I'm not sure why you would.Lloyd "Phat Face"

may have something to do with the average IQ of an RRs purchaser,,,
i had a disco 3 for three and a half years and sold it to buy a 2009 RRS TDV8 which i only kept for 9 months as i found i really did not like it after all and was missing the disco
So when i sold the RRS i went and ordered a new disco 4 to replace it
everyone makes a mistake in life and i think buying a RRS was mine
shawnbali blue disco 4 with rear dvd's, privacy glass, pre heat system, heated steering wheel, full size spare, piano black trim, ipod cable, 20 inch wheels and i love it loads more than my TDV8 RRS, KTM 250 EXC 2 Stroke for the real off road stuff

in the states, and where i live (socal or The OC) I see a lot more FFRR and RRS than I do D3's. the main reason is that the RRS are popular with the young couples or the family that only have 1.2 kids and a dog. once they have anymore kids than that they'll move up to an escalade or something and not really give the D3 a try. The other week i was almost floored to see 3 D3's (one behind me and one passing us) that's almost qualifies as a get-together LOL.
and i see A LOT of women drive the RRS it's bizarre i dont know and dont understand why that is.-Greetz, Duan
