It´s not a big deal, but i liked the ProSpeed "P" on the cowl better than the bright "Quest" details. It lookes like fancy details seen on speed boats..
Since it is handcrafted, is it possible to ask for the "P" instead? Land Rover - It Hurts So Good

Is there any more news on this rack?
It seems that the original "P" mentioned by Steff has been replaced by an silver section on the side with "Quest" on it.....has anyone got a close-up of this area fitted to the D3?
Also, what is the news on the cross-bars? Does anyone have them? Any photos? Would it be possible to fit a roof box to them or are they too narrow for the "claws" to grab onto?
And the main point - what about the compostite floors? Has anyone got their hands on a set of finished production floors? Any photos?
Thanks in advance,

Sorry - I forgot to ask....how are the floors and front cowling secured to the rack?
Are the reasonably "thief-proof"?2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Hello,
The ProSpeed 'P' was only on our test rack, it was our first prototype and was literally just our way of putting our mark on it. The first front cowl was actually metal, which wasn't ideal and very difficult to produce cost effectively. Since then, as you know, we have opted for the lighter, more manageable composite front.
Cross bars are in stock. If they are purchased with your rack you can also claim the 10% forum discount, and yes, a roof box can easily be fitted to them.
After testing had been concluded, as well as changing the front cowl we also disposed of the aluminium floor. For the same reason, it made our rack much heavier than we were prepared to accept. We therefore made the floor out of the lighter, stronger, composite material. The image a couple of posts above is the composite floor used on the standard racks. In terms of them being theft proof, the floors are attached using six plastic fasteners and six M8 eyebolts, hence it is as theft proof as the rack itself. Which we believe is as theft proof as any other roof rack available. For anyone expecting composite floors, they will be shipped to you at the end of the week, sorry about the wait.
Kind regards,
ProSpeed Off Road

Thanks for the update
Still not clear about the design of the floors as the solid floors in the photo you refer to are shown as a prototype part, whilst the image on your website shows one with holes in which would make it lighter and allow rain-water to drain off easier.
It seems that they are not quite ready to ship yet, but could you please stick some photos up when possible?
Regarding the cross-bars, are they a square section or oval? What are the sizes?
Thanks again,
