Hi Guys
I just want to rave a bit over Baben's service, he helped me sorting out quite a number of errors on my vehicle, if you dont have a faultmate or even have one and you are battling with something on your vehicle, contact Baben he will get you sorted out in no time at all. 2012 Discovery 4 SDV6 SE 50mm Suspension Lift, Front Runner RR, Drawers, Tuffstuff Underbody Armour.

you are making me blush, Marius!
besides, you did all the manual labour, I just fiddled with the Faultmate
It was an interesting one, though - the seal in the connector for what I think may be the right rear wheel speed sensor was all chewed up and it seemed like it had been like this for ages, probably since assembly judging by the amount of muck inside it. Every time Marius had the car washed, multiple transmission, special programs, park brake errors all lit up the dash. To be honest, unless I had had a similar experience with my own D3 and the same connector being loose, I would never have known where to look, because the resultant faults are so numerous.

Hi Baben
Just a question. Do you think a software upgrade will fix the issue I have with my trip computer that shows miles and not km readings. 2012 Discovery 4 SDV6 SE 50mm Suspension Lift, Front Runner RR, Drawers, Tuffstuff Underbody Armour.

Anthony, any chance of you being able to 'fix' D4's yet? I would love to enable SATNAV on the move on my D4. LR cannot do it! Was at LR for 2 days, they say that softwarelink on their programmer is missing!

Received my handheld unit and TT mapping this week through Baben. The handheld unit is used to download std mapping and to upload TT maps. The result is that one can change your mapping at will, like when going in for sevice
The D3 felt much stronger with the new map,so I did a test to confirm.I measured acceleration over a piece of road(slight uphill).
Results:
Std 36sec @ 138km/h no smoke
Econ TT 35 sec @ 143 km/h some smoke
Power TT 34.5 sec @ 145 km/h more smoke
The car has a very nice urge when overtaking, which is what I wanted
It is difficult to comment on turbo lag,as I haven't used the car enough in traffic to notice any difference.
I am currently using the econ map.
Next I will tackle the EGR's to improve turbo lag
I looked at both BAS and TT and choose TT because of Baben's service. He is just a phonecall away
Thanks Anthony
