Adrian - I had that message flash up initially, but after an iginition cycle everything worked fine. I changed a few other but unrelated items in the CCF - Xenons & 4x4 info screen. Tried reversing lights with follow-me-home lights but didn't work.
My EPB CCF section is as follows
Electric Park Brake Fitment - fitted
Key-out = Apply EPB (Manual Gearbox) - active
Electric Park Brake Auto Release - active
Electric Park Brake Release on Shift from Park - inactive
Electric Park Brake Apply on Stall - inactive
Electric Park Brake City Mode - active
Electric Park Brake Dynamic Brake Lights - active
Colin - I was surmising that maybe the relevant ECU had a software upgrade to handle automatic release. The CCF setting may have always been there?

IISTR with regard to follow me home reverse lights, it was in the origional specification for the car but was never implemented. Neither my 05 or my 07 did this. Well not until I enable them this evening
DiscoStu, I can only thnk that you had the setting enabled in the CCF by mistake unless others had this too.Kevin

I found out it could do it through Disco3, so others must have had it too.
Mind you, only tried it once and then never used it again - not the most useful of features!
Doing a search, it looks like a non-uk feature. Oh well, Betty did it Only tried it once in a Toys-R-Us car park, and that was to see if it worked Disco 5 HSE Lux

But then you've normally got the engine running, and rear driving lights are much brighter than reversing lamps. And I've not got a trailer Disco 5 HSE Lux
