Dunc ..jack and bits are now behind the second row of seats ..in the middle there is a post with a cover on ..remove the cover and there is a big hole right through the middle ...i put a bungy cord in there to keep them safe and secure

Bringing this back up Wiggs, but where did you get the voltage/amp display from?

Seen a few voltage only ones on e-bay, but the voltage and amp displays seem to be a bit pricey.

Cheers

Yes dual combo panel meters are quite expensive and you need a shunt resistor

I paid about £20 for meter and £10 for the shunt ..although his postage charges were a bit steep

Got them from this ebayer

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/e3b6a5y/

If i were doing it again ( well i am actually doing Ent's ...but already fitted the meter and drilled all the holes ) i would proberly go for 2 seperate meters ..volts and amps . Works out cheaper that way ..but depends on how much space you have

Shunt (resistor)

I know it's been over a year, but if you still watch this thread wiggs, why did you not simply use the existing plastic panel to build on? Thickness comes to mind as well as the fact that unplugging things will probably pull out the whole panel as the tabs are not that strong...

Am I right?

Cheers Thumbs Up
