Nice job Wiggs, for screws that work well with these sockets I use these from RS they work really well for XLR connectors etc... come in nice short lengths for panel mounting.

Great Job....
Not that easy to post dimensions ...
Take yours out of the car and draw round it onto a piece of cardboard ...try the cardboard in the car for size ...you can then trim the card until its were you want it ...then copy onto a peice of wood /mdf G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Wow cool stuff hope you dont mind if I borrow some of your ideas! what did you use to mount your pc to the inner panel? is it double sided sticky tape?

Yes industrial velcro ..very very strong
Can easily pull it out if i need to do anything ..had my tv tuner in there for 18 months now and never moved .
The panel were its stuck to has a sort of sound deadening material on itG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Fitted a Dzus fastner for locking in place and done a bit of wiring .
Cant get it much smaller due to the size of cables ..and i didn't want to solder direct to teminals in case i want to remove / modify
