Don’t think the second item will be required. The one I purchased shows as operating wbus off remote.

Says it activates wbus so should work fine. Have you tried one?

Can someone clarify please.

As per my previous post below, from the eBay seller page he is showing two diagrams for Thermo Top V so which one is correct wire wise?

Question to those in the know.

I’ve ordered the below……

Webasto W-bus Functions Remote Module

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124117320536

Does it come with wiring diagrams?
How have others fitted the device?
Will it fit the below that’s installed in my LR4?

Thanks.

Well looked at it just now, connected the power side red and black and the green to the cut red on pin 2 and nothing.

I last tested it via my IIDTool and the FBH powered up but nothing via the controller.

The red light comes on the handset, checked wiring and still nothing.

Owe well.

Is this a D4 ?
There is usually another option on the aftermarket box, eg park heater. Maybe worth trying

Oh and maybe you need to pair the remote. Does the box click when you press the remote?
Contact the seller. They are usually very helpful.

Just read this on the Romanian EBay add which I missed.

“Operation the Webasto on Range Rover / Land Rover 4(2010 to Present) with Thermo Top V or VEVO(AH22) is only possible by canceling the password of Heater ECU.
This operation is now available (for UK customers) in Pymouth to my co-workers. Contact me for details”.

I have the D4 so what’s this password?

I am not sure you need/can cut that red wire on a D4
Since on the D4 that still may have a function…(clock/button on screen? ) you can wire “in” W-bus signal so “split the wire in” so it stays connected to the car also..
 Best regards

Had another look just now cos it’s bugging me.

I can hear the device clicking when the remote is pressed, tried it with the cut red wire connected and still no go.

So I’m thinking it has to do with this password the seller mentions?

Back to square one.
