the Netherlands [ data from www.autoweek.nl ];

YoY Oct 18 ...Disco5 sales are still up 9% despite the recent downturn ...it's the DS and Evoque that have taken a significant hammering

I guess D3/D4 are models with a soul. 8)
But D3 (as Defender) is the last of the old school.
.... but probably I am old.

To be fair, I hate the D5.

I’ve never owned one, but having driven over half a dozen examples over a total of nearly 10,000 miles, I’d say that’s enough to form a fair opinion Thumbs Up

On the other hand, I’ve owned a lot of iPhones and have a love/hate relationship with them (edging ever closer to “hate” since iOS12 blundered it’s way onto my phones Evil or Very Mad ), while I’ve owned nothing but Dysons since my first DC01 in 1994 and love them. The verdict’s still out on James Dyson himself though...

Ah good point never thought of that option, but have to say if you have driven 10k in D5s that has got to ba as a good as owning one and is certainly a long enough test drive Mr. Green
My Iphone can annoy me at times, but it works and thats all I ask of it as for Dysons, we to have had them for an age, I would guess at least the last 15/18 yrs, not to keen on the latest style of upright that keeps trying to collapse as you push them along to park them up.

It’d be a dull world if we all liked the same thing Very Happy

Besides, I suppose it's up to someone (other than just their mother) to love them Wink

Just look at the RIVIAN tread : the new Defender is beaten too it with all we miss in the D5
and more... .. full electric 0-60mph 3secs , 0-100mph 7 secs, topspeed 125mph max hill
climb 45-degrees, range 500 miles, max towing 5000Kg, wading 1 meter... Shocked

- build in power sockets;
- build in aircompressor;

Short front and rear overhangs and a box shape. Only spoilt by the large rims and low profile tyres.
I like it.

And a massive wheelbase which isn't going to help the ramp over angle.
