Sales Figures
From LR USA. 2017 august sales
"The Discovery continues to struggle, despite its new-car status. It was down 15% for the month of August, after having started deliveries in May. This is surprising and disappointing"

People will be along to try and defend it by saying things like it’s down over similar markets.
Is it any wonder it’s down.

The US market is in a downturn for the last 6 month approx., inventories are piling up and discounts getting bigger and bigger.
First to suffer are European premium brands.Achim

28% is 2016 and 2017 calendar years which not reasonable comparison
.
7% drop for comparable quarters though.

20% drop of Discovery sales in September is huge though. Other models only had a 6-7% drop and with the Disco being a brand new model it should be doing better not worse.
