D5 hasn't launched yet in ZA, but chatting to my local dealer, it would seem they haven't got many orders like they did with the D4.--

2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged
What's really odd is that 10 of the D5's are grey and the other two are black! They are done in colours as well, aren't they?

Hi J77,
For a 2.0 litres TD4 180hp you'll have to pay a malus (CO2 penalty) of 3.290 euros.
For a 2.0 litres SD4 240hp, penalty of 4.253 euros.
For a 3.0 litres SDV6 258hp, penalty of 9.660 euros!
I see that there's help for families with at least 3 children though (well, it is France! )

Unfortunately there's no help for two children and a dog!
It's becoming unbearable living in France. Here's the paradise for social benefits seekers and hell for middle/upper class workers who have to pay for it all. The rich have left long time ago!
I'll get out of here as soon as possible...

Well if you're heading over here bring a set of those 20" wheels with you, looks like no one will miss them 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

I live within 20 minutes of two Main Stealers (okay, both same company but different branches) and I have seen only one on the road. Plenty of DS's floating about and there's no shortage of FFRR, RRS and D3 and 4's.
Went in to one branch to look at a D4 and just casually asked how they were selling and was told "fantastically well" (did make me wonder whether I could trust his description of the D4 I was looking at!) There were a couple of used ones awaiting preparation for sale though!

J77, as much as i love the UK, i won't be heading your way. Surely on holidays!
I've actually lived in London from 1992 to 2004. England was very important to me, both, professionally and personally. My wife and i are very fond of the place. There is where we met and had our daughter!
Our plan is to live in Portugal, where quality of life is second to none...at least for the moment!
Cheers!

The proportion of D5's to D4's seems to be increasing all of the time, it's recently passed 10% of the whole. Fortunately, simply ticking the box marked "SDV6" clears it all up quickly and neatly though
