Child benefit should stop at two little b.......s. Well most of them are aren't they? With numerous fathers,
Ooops. That's put the cat amongst the pigeons.
Why should these people have a superior lifestyle to those that are paying their taxes. (In most cases).
I'm going to stop now before I get angry.
I once knew a bloke who got with a woman with 4 kids I jokingly said how many different fathers, he replied without any mailce 4! they had another kid and are now split up

If I was in control everyone of them would have to come to the dole office to get their monies.
My dole offices would have small doors so the overweight ones couldn't get in.
Everyone of them would be tested for drugs, fags and alcohol if traces found no dole.
Benefits for one child only.

I suppose they can only hand out what's been donated regardless of what's actually required.
In short, they can't give out what they don't have.
Agreed but they could put guidance on the collection points.==================================

Apparently back in the 60's the Govt only paid for child 2 & 3. You had to be able to afford the 1st kid and any others after 3!Dave

The issue with that is when you give people food vouchers, for instance, they will always find ways of trading them for money instead, either directly or by the roundabout way of buying the food and then trading that. When they do so, the value of the vouchers/food in the swap is always going to be lower than the face value, yet the vouchers impose the face value cost on the government. If the government spends £1 on a voucher which is traded for, say, 90p, either directly or the roundabout way, then that 10p difference is lost value because the value of the voucher to the user does not match the cost to the government.
That's why the poor should be given real currency, just less of it. If they spend it unwisely, that is their problem. Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC

There will always be minorities who take ...whether it be claimants who live entirely on benefits for no real reason ....or those supposed 'businesses' doing cash jobs and not paying in to make our taxes less 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Put their names on the vouchers and ID is required before spending them in any shop...! You only have to apply this to long term benefit claimants......
I also don't get why people on long term sickness or most (not all) disabilities require more money to live on than anyone else??------------------------------

One thing worse that those who seem to have it all is benefits cheats and it never ceases to amaze me how long it takes to catch them.
The other day a women was jailed for fraud, she was a genuine claimant for ill health, but when that came to an end, she realised she liked having her own money rather than relying on hubby, so she claimed he was not working and went on to claim £40,000 over 4 years before being caught out, didn't anyone think to check up on her "unemployed" husband who was actually in a full-time PAYE job.==================================
