Yesterday put up my day tent. Relatively simple once I'd read the instructions and well made. Only problem is that it is tardis in reverse. Nicely packaged when new and has now folded down to 5 times its previous size and safely fills the entire boot. Would recommend the investment to anyone swithering out there.

Did you take any pics ?
Do you think its a worthwhile investment ?
Any idea of the size when its up?

I managed to string together 6 miles of lanes - which is really hard work around here! (Truro area of Cornwall) Nothing even worthy of a photo, but at least it was off tarmac.
With a bit of determination and a lot of investigation, you can find places on your own doorstep that you (and most other people!) didn't know existed.Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Dave T , I know whot you mean there is not many lanes around these parts, just sand and loads of it
Drove to the top of my local mountain so "the airliner" could pose for a couple of pics with the sunset drenched Swiss Alps in the background, 80km to the south.

Spent 3 hours taking her apart so i could fit an A-Bar.
Spent 45 mins fitting bolts/brackets and drilling out the bumper.
Then spent 2 hours putting the wheel arch liners back in.
And it rained all the time i was doing it. when it stops raining i will take a picture of the front.

rouge, just wondering why you took out the wheelarch liners? Were you doing something else, as you don't need to take them out for removing the bumper! IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Brendan - i searched the site and found some instructions for removing the bumper, which refered off to a seperate set of instructions which was to remove the wheel arch liners, as you need to drop these out the way to get to the screw thats holding on the plastic wheel arches, which then allows you access to the two bolts holding onto the bumper.
In the end i managed to get at the bolt holding on the bumper beneath the wheel arches, without altogether removing the arches.
Hey, ho - will know better next time
