I'll have to do a shortened version as I can't be bothered to re-write it all!
Recently, I've done the V8 upgrade on all my brakes - still bedding them in but they feel great so far. I had some trouble with one of the rear ones as the torx screw was stuck and got rounded off. In the end I took it to the garage and they drilled it out and I was able to finish the last one! One of my parkbrake shoes is knackered so I've left the fuse out and will get a new set.
I had planned to do my diff and transfer box oils but didn't do the front diff as one of the sump plate bolts is stuck and rounded off - I found out when doing my oil not long ago. This time I thought I'd try those Irwin Bolt-Grip sockets but no luck. I'll get it taken off soon. Not having done the front diff, I've also left the rear as the filler plug was stuck and I think I'll get a better tool first. The transfer box couldn't have been easier with my oil syringe - I may do it each year (~20k for me ) I think.
I finally got round to fitting two of my silicone intercooler hoses too. None of them needed doing yet but now I don't have to worry - and they're blue . The third one will have to wait!
I also noticed my left front CV boot had come off so I've re-fitted it and will keep an eye on it - probably needs a cable tie.
Many thanks to everyone who contributes information to this forum - as always it's been a great resource. Ian, your Brake Bible is brilliant and was a great help.
Also many thanks to Steve at Advanced Factors. His service is outstanding in every way and I can't reccomend him enough. Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC

Not today, but at the weekend. Having had the windscreen replaced last week, we decided it would be a good time to replace the windscreen scuttle which had faded and also the black A pillar trims for shiny new ones. As you slide down the banister of life

Just finished my CB mount.
After glueing two pieces of wood together and cutting a disc with a 5 1/2" holesaw and having a mait cut it down to size on how wood lathe to fit in the passenger cup holder.
A piece of steel screwed to the CB mounting bracket and bent to a right angle then screwed to the wood block which has been stained black.
