Key battery
Just replaced the battery in one of my keys.
It's a little fiddler but once you get the case apart and the old battery desoldered it's just a matter of soldering in the new one and super glueing the case back together.

Dropped my A bar off to get refurbished and repainted.
Looking forward to getting it back, just need to order my upper brackets off the site to get that sorted.
Gathering parts for Part 2 of it's change from School Bus to off roader.
Planning Part 3, but i'll need deep pockets for that.. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Rest well old friend, your work is done.

Just booked it in for the front wishbones and wheel alignment next Tuesday... Finally gonna get rid of that damn knocking!
Also looked up shiny winches to fit the mount and recovery points currently sat patiently in my shed.

Brembo Upgrade
Bought the callipers off ebay and rebuilt with new pistons and seals. Finally got around to fitting them yesterday.
And here they are under the D4 wheels.
The Brembo callipers are the 4 pots ones off the RRS that have the square harmonic balancers that protrude out quite a way. Can confirm no problem fitting with these 19" wheels.Jul 04 Build TDV6 HSE Car #466 , Reversing Camera, Front Brembos Rear V8 brakes, Allisport intercooler, D4 Bluetooth and the odd S/W upgrade courtesy of the Faultmate MSV-2

Had the car into Quattro Autocentre land rover specialists yesterday to get the front wishbones changed, and they were nice enough to stick it on the diagnostics and inform me that my left EGR valve is stuck open, and that one of my rear anti roll bar links has snapped. Time to finally fit my EGR blank methinks...what is this life, if full of care?
