Morning Landie my engine bay is always kept clean so just a quick rinse over with a hand held water sprayer wipe around left to dry then apply Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing
If it was very dirty or oily I would use Autosmart G101 that's got to be the best stuff ever made and it's called 101 because it's got 101 uses 8)
And I tried out some new Meguiar’s Ultimate Protectant Dash & Trim Restorer for the Arches and bumpers so will see what that's like Wanted D4s non runners pm for competitive price.

Thanks buddy - might have to do something with mine, just been a bit hesitant to spray much in there (other than WD40 on the turbo linkage )
Cheers

Went along to an event I saw a flyer posted for nearby.
Turned out to be a "Taxed Vehicle" trials event in a forest.
Nice Shiny D3 did everything that all the others in their Defenders were doing, only one event not completed as a clear because my tyres really weren't up to it.
Not a bad day out for a fiver, but not sure I'll be going again. Bit Cliquey and if you're house doesn't have a barn you don't really seem to fit in.

I would go back with better tyres and wipe the floor with some of them for a laugh.. but that's just me.
I drove mine to the train station, and tonight i shall drive it home again. Currently on 370 miles and have just over 1/4 tank left. I love motorway driving and warm weather. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Rest well old friend, your work is done.

Started to install side steps. What a issue could not get the 2 small screws in the wheel arch out totally rusted went to jack up and remove wheel, threads in scissor jack stripped. Went back to dealer with it, as only picked up car last week. Went to halfords and bought a trolley jack. The rest of the operation went well but only got one side done. Other side tomorrow.
