I knew those reflective stickers would come in handy. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.
Just to let those who don't have a plate yet that I'm stuck in the North Sea at present (since 5am on monday ) and this is the first time I've seen a computer. Currently trying to arrange a helicopter to get me back home tommorow evening so I'll be back on the Mantec case then - after I've said 'hello' to SWMBO....... Back on dry land now and have dealt with all the plates for which a payment has been received. I'm still waiting for payments from Donald, photothames, & stumpy but these guys have all been in contact so I reckon that will probably be OK.
The only one who has not responded in any way is ZOOK
In light of this, I reckon splicer might be the first lucky reserve...... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Seven plates despatched today and now only five left. Four of these are are accounted for (3 awaiting payment) and since zook has made no contact at all in the past fortnight, the first of the 'reserves' has been notified. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

From experience, I wouldn't wait too long for it today. All the French and Spanish sub-contractors seem to have a different way of working - something to do with a siesta on a Friday that lasts till Monday morning....... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

It arrived at the local delivery branch (which probably means Barcelona airport) at 08:43 this morning as did LR3007s plate.
From where I work I could walk to the damn airport and walk back with it strapped to my head in around 6 hours (if I wasn't so lazy). Of course, I could just take the car and be back within 30 minutes tops.
And I was so looking forward to fitting it tomorrow morning
Oh well....fingers crossed for Monday 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG
