Plate comes off for sump plug removal but its only 4 bolts. Actually, it's easier to remove the plate than it is t remove the plastic thingy The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

So Many posts, so little brain...
Sorry guys, it's way past my Horlicks time - the brain can't scan 100+ posts to find out:-
Is it still a WINCH / NON-WINCH option?
If it'll cut / fit round a winch, then I'm in...

Only LR can sell the winch version (something to do with licensing agreement or such like) so even though Mantec make it for LR, they can't sell it themselves. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I presume it's more than a jig-saw and angle-grinder issue - have you come across any pics. of the difference?

Mantec...

The winch version has a couple of cut outs for the winch tray support, and the mounting points are in different places. More than you could do with an angle grinder IMHO.
Another thought for you to consider - if you had a hidden winch (did you see wiggs' D3 at Tong?) then you'd want the standard sump guard anyway.

Just another 12 to go then, and we have 26 days to get them. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

DW - She's worth every penny and so much more. Go on, this is a worth while addition and an absolute bargain. I don't think you'll need any more additions once you have this except may be a winch and expo rack and RAIThe surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.
