Protection plate that protects the sump and engine bay components. You currently have a plastic one that covers about 1 sq ft of engine bay - JMC is offering you a shiny piece of metal that will make your motor look even more 8)

Silly question, well maybe, but is the sump drain still easily accessible or does the plate have to come off for an oil change?

Just wondering if the Garage will get grumpy at the next service because of the extra work.

Pretty sure dealers don't remove the sump plug for oil changes? Confused

They suck it out of the dipstick hole Wink I'm sure someone will confirm or ridicule.....

My car has been back to the dealer several times, and they've never asked for extra for removing the guard, or even mentioned it.

The sump drain plug is covered the plate behind the Mantec one, you'll have to remove the rear two bolts (which also hold the front of the rear plate) to access it
