Hi DW
JMC said today that the normal cost is £282 inc UK P&P.
Come on, sign up, think of all the damage that could be done with out it.... You know it makes sense......

apart from me .... there were also two members on the #3 list that confirmed but were unable to get the plate - cmyers_uk and RiminiEd. Might be worth a PM to them, JMC
Let's hope you can get the 20

Protection plate that protects the sump and engine bay components. You currently have a plastic one that covers about 1 sq ft of engine bay - JMC is offering you a shiny piece of metal that will make your motor look even more 8)

Must be a couple of hundred posts to read though in that lot so you should get the gist of it...... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Mine
It's the silver plate underneath..... This shot gives you an idea of the depth of the plate, protecting the sump.Disco 5 HSE Lux

Silly question, well maybe, but is the sump drain still easily accessible or does the plate have to come off for an oil change?
Just wondering if the Garage will get grumpy at the next service because of the extra work.Life is what you make it.

Pretty sure dealers don't remove the sump plug for oil changes?
They suck it out of the dipstick hole I'm sure someone will confirm or ridicule.....
My car has been back to the dealer several times, and they've never asked for extra for removing the guard, or even mentioned it.Disco 5 HSE Lux

The sump drain plug is covered the plate behind the Mantec one, you'll have to remove the rear two bolts (which also hold the front of the rear plate) to access itThe End
