I think it is not TD5 flaps since these have the cut out for the exhaust. You do want 90 rear flaps though. Speak to Duckworths or your dealer, they'll sort you out. Thumbs Up

What is the idea of the older style flaps? They seem popular on here, I'm just curious why not the standard fitted/shaped ones?

Because the standard ones don't really do much, if you tow then the series/defender ones keep the muck off the trailer, but if you fit front as well then the whole disco stays remarkable clean.

I have a trimed version of the series ones what a difference over the standard ones

Makes sense Lee thank you. I'm just not sure about the look yet tbh. But being black I need all the help I can get keeping it clean.

When I had my Passat estate a few years ago, it needed taken to a garage on the back of a truck. It had no mud flaps and I was horrified at the damage done to the underside by stones etc. from the road. I couldn't see the damage until the car was up on the trailer. I've had mud flaps ever since.

But they didn't stop me getting stuck in the mud last weekend at Loch Sloy Embarassed on a green road run - but it did give a Deafner driver the chance to use his winch.
