Just used cheap series flaps on mine
£14 off the bay although the pukka LR ones are probably better as they are a touch thicker than these.

I would have thought that the larger mud flaps would restrict your reversing over rough ground somewhat !!
Or even when reversing against a pavement !

Never had a problem, and for £14 quid, even if they did, would it really matter? "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

Series ones are approx 3mm, Bowler ones 5mm. It's probably more cost effective to buy some 4mm rubber sheet off eBay & make your own.
I opted for Bowler at the rear as they are approx 90mm longer than the series ones & sit evenly with the front when vowed side on.Paul.

I've had problems with normal fitted flaps at the rear on two occasions so would have thought extra large would be a problem more often.
When reversing in some rough ground the flap squashed against the wheel and tore it off the other time was when I reversed into a mud bank and the same thing happened.
Not so much the £14 but the nuisance factor I would have thought.

You would be right with that. A couple of times when up at the Borders it required some shuffling to get around a tight bit, only because I value my doorskins etxPaul.

Bit of a thread resurrection - but I am thinking of doing the same, Russell kindly fitted the fronts before I bought it from him, but thinking would be good to match them.
You say Defender 90 flaps - may seem daft question, but fronts or rears? Some of the defender rears that I have seen are different patterns left v right side, assume for exhaust or something. I know the 90 hasn't changed much, but was it the flaps to fit the latest model?
From what I am seeing on Duckworth parts, they are not as pricey as thought they maybe - £50 a pair. Just need to make sure I get the right ones.
Thanks.MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff
