The part numbers on my Citroen invoice are; 1001G2 Pump. 32629 Crankshaft seal. 516G8 Crankshaft bolt.

Actually it would probably be safer to buy the seal from Land Rover.
I don't know if there is any difference, but I do have a slight leak from mine. Nothing serious and it may be because the engine is slightly over serviced with oil. I don't have time at the moment to do a proper investigation.

May I suggest you contact Disco_Mikey as he is on the ball with pumps and seals. He can probably supply you with the correct parts far cheaper than going to LR.

I use/supply an OEM crank seal and a genuine Crank pulley bolt. Never had an issue Thumbs Up

I'll offer my take on this, for what it's worth Laughing ......I was concerned about this stage of the job, lets face it,who would want to take it all apart again to change a leaking crank seal Rolling Eyes Rather than buy the extortionate LR seal installation tools, I bought a Victor Reinz crank seal (from AF), which comes with a plastic cone to assist in getting the seal on the crankshaft without damaging it, although I used it with a genuine LR SEAL. Also I made the tool at the bottom ( out of a scrap RB211 LP Fuel pipe Razz ) to push the seal into place exactly 1mm recessed into the oil pump case, using a big washer and the old crank pulley bolt. Don't get any oil near any part of the seal, it must be fitted totally dry, and keep it square as you install it. Thumbs Up
 D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Australia 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Chawton WhiteDiscovery 3

and if you are in Australia, the Ford part number for this item is 4R8Z 6600 AF, and it will cost around $130, which is about 75 GBP at todays post-Brexit rate.

The TDV6 engine is used in the Ford Territory.

So for once, just once, a genuine landrover part is cheaper in Australia than in the UK. Thumbs Up
