Unfortunately Ford in NZ charges a lot more than 170 for an oil pump, about $600 I think it was.
I certainly wouldn’t waste my money on Britpart, even Bearmach is a bit iffy, but the FAI sounded promising.
As I hope to keep my vehicle for a long time Im going to go genuine, but would be keen to hear if anyone has fitted aftermarket and had any success or issues.
I fitted 3 Bearmach pumps. All 3 had issues
Fitted 1 Britpart, had issues, albeit 2 years later

Fit ONLY an OEM pump Thumbs Up
I did think as much, not really something worth taking a chance on.
Unfortunately the Australian Ford place Garrycol recommended wont ship internationally, so I'll just have to buy a Land Rover one from the UK.

Also, what’s people’s thoughts on the eBay oil pumps that match the LR013487 part number, but don’t seem to have the FoMoCo stamp?Defender 110 2.4 TDCi Utility Station Wagon.

It's the one definite thing that for me is dealer only.
A good lubrication system is the heart of the engine.
So genuine Oil Pump, service twice a year with genuine Oil filter & top quality Engine oil.
My Disco 3 is getting on! But I want it to last a lot longer yet...EGR pipes blocked & refitted.
Butterfly valve removed.
Dash clock.
3 flash indicators.
Xenons with Cornering lights.
De-tangoed with Side marker lights.
Tinted windows.
'See me home' lights front & rear.
Cruise & Audio controls fitted.
Remote start FBH.
New belts & Oil pump upgrade.
Full length roof bars.

The FoMoCo pump is tried and tested, and not that expensive in the grand scheme of things
If you fitted a cheap aftermarket pump, and anything happened to the engine, you'd always be wondering if it was the pump that was £40 cheaper that caused it...My D3 Build Thread

I have changed mine at the official LAND ROVER dealer and with the official LAND ROVER pump ref. LR123716 that they installed me, it had FoMoCo (Ford Motor Company) written on it, not sure if it have LAND ROVER written.
