I can't see the new Discovery being somehow more secretive than any other model.
We tend to see new models out in cammo several months before official unveiling then another 6 months or more before they are on the road.
I don't think we will see the all new vehicle on the road until end 2016 or early 2017.MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

It was the Russian market dropping that I was told caused my new one to appear earlier than expected.
It went from June/ July to April then end of March early April then on the 26th Feb they said its in transit to dealer expected 3rd March.
I was sat in the Dealers on the 2nd and the service guy said that's your new one going in for the tow bar and steps to be fitted. So the build dates seem to be quicker than expectedMY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

Not seen any mules driving around the lanes where they normally drive up and down and around and i'm next door to factory to say so .
Normally see them on test all the time camo'd up

Also bear in mind that the bigger contribution to finance is linked to a higher APR product so about half of the contribution will be eaten up in higher payments.
As for the new model I was told late 2016 unveil a fair while ago and agree that nothing seems to have been spotted whereas with new FFRR/RRS there were lots of mules visible a year or so before launch. It is what it is mind!2014MY Discovery

It's the reason we went for a 2015.... not much will change on the existing car now, wouldn't be surprised if 2016 is identical to 2015.
Then we'll keep our 2015 until approx 4 years old to either buy a nearly new of the brand new one (considering the new prices will hike as well, reckon 70k for an HSE Lux, 50k for an SE spec) or at least give it time for any teething troubles to get fixed (although I'd say the tech will be well bedded down in RR and RRS form well before it gets to D5)MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Agree with that. I will look at the D5 but might wait a tad to get one (2018 or 2019) as I have the 5 year service plan and nothing much went wrong with my D3 until it went off a cliff from years 6 to 8!2014MY Discovery

I picked my new one up today and they say D5 pushed back to 2017.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
