The float in the tank often becomes pourous and sinks, triggering the level warning. On the older firmware, the CCF can be/is set to ignore the message (so you have no warning) but later instrument pack firmware versions (i.e. with the COD) will not accept this, so the warning can't be disabled, and may be triggered if the float is pourous. The fix is a new coolant tank, but TBH, it's better to have the warning anyway.
