2 degrees this morning, and...

It wouldn't start. One dead battery.

Knew it was coming, so had a new Exide Premium on standby Thumbs Up

Just had to happen while the car was parked in a way that it couldn't even be jump started to get me on the road nice and early this morning. Rolling Eyes

Heated seats and heated steering wheel as 0.4c. Lively jubbly.

Unfortunately off to the gym in the Jazz, easier to squeeze into the spaces. Big Cry Big Cry But at least that car warms up in about 500m, or the end of the drive. Laughing

Yeah, I got caught out with the auto wipers, too, this morning. Rolling Eyes

You would think it would be pretty simple to code some logic into whatever ECU controls the wipers to behave such that IF ambient temperature < 4℃ (when the frost warning gets displayed) THEN do not automatically wipe. A quick flick of the stalk to wipe and reset once the heated screen has melted the ice.

It's a bit like the IF raining THEN automatically close sunroof logic they also forgot. Whistle

That's enough IF THEN statements for one morning. Laughing

Me too Thumbs Up

Glad I fitted my new Exide Premium battery yesterday. I suspect the original battery would have struggled this morning.

Yep. 2c for me here this morning. FBH all fine, heated seat keeping my bum nice and warm but a horrible scrape as I joined the "Forgot to set the auto wipers off" club.

Yesterday in Western Sydney - 45.3 degrees Celsius!!!
Thank god I like near the coast, we had a weak seabreeze and a Sea Fog that kept the temp down to about 29 degrees!
BTW it's not even Summer yet. Shocked
