Guys I have had this mod done for quite a while now but only getting around to asking does any one else have intermittent Bluetooth phone connection?
Mine does not connect immediately but takes a couple minutes even then it can still get confused but will usually stay online, once connected all works.

Any ideas?

you need to update your bluetooth module...

Hi guys, finally i installed d4 sat nav on my d3, so i connect 3 pins d4 sat nav to head unit ( +v ; infotainment; ground ) , i connect most cable Y, and when the key is not insert LAND ROVER LOGO appears, when i insert key and position is on, the radio start and immediatly the Sat Nav turn off. For 1/2 minutes the head unit works good, then mute.
If i get out connector power of head unit, and replace it, then make the same. for 2 minutes works the head unit and then mute.

If you get the warning on the screen when you select reverse, then the screen is working as it should. It's the camera that is the problem. I should check it has power and that the video connections are OK.

Try using the secret menu and check the input. You can switch between PAL and NTSC there. However I think if you had the wrong signal, you would just get a distorted picture. My money is in either no power or no video input.

Go to Home screen, finger in the middle of the screen right at the top for 5 seconds, then finger top left corner. Code is 753.

That's good news. You can reverse in confidence now.

I've just fitted a MY10 D4 sat screen to my wifes Discovery 3, however the screen doesn't switch to the reverse camera when sticking the car in reverse.

I've checked that the option for the reverse camera is enabled but according to the secret mode on the screen it's configuration reports that it's not enabled.

Do I need special firmware from GAP to re-code this with my IID tool?

Cheers,

Martyn

You need to update the xxo with a Iid tool or similar to tell it it has a rear camera if you have connected up the wires correctly but if you don't get a blank screen when reverse is engaged you have to have the ccf edited Thumbs Up
