Great minds think alike.
I mailed the guy this morning to ask if he can make a 1M long lead. I think that one is too short.
I'll let you know the reply.

Cable length was perfect, otherwise you end up trying to pack it in behind either the D4 touch screen or the already tight D3 media unit.
According to the place you got your lead from, it was about 30cm long, which means about 30cm length between each plug (as the splice seems to be about half way along).
The one from the supplier I found is 20cm long - which gives about 20cm between plugs. I don't think that that will be long enough to get from the D4 unit to the radio. If you found that 30cm was perfect, I'll ask them for a 30cm cable length.

Remember your running one of the 90 deg ends up to D4 touchscreen, and looping both the others down behind the D3 media unit to 90 deg on to the media unit and the male to plug into the original black wired connection

Ordered the cable to see if I can get the TMC function working, reversing camera enabled (thanks Geoff) and camera ordered, DAB unit all connected up (once again thanks to Geoff for the MOST cable) apart from an antenna.
The DAB button on the screen is now not greyed out, but when I press it, nothing happens.
I guess this could be due to two things : either I have got the DAB configuration in the CCF file wrong, or the DAB unit refuses to play ball because it has no antenna connected.
If anyone has fitted the DAB unit - what options did you use in the CCF file?

I have got the DAB to the same place even with an aerial connected,
the D3 media centre needs to be GAP upgraded!! to know the D3 (which never had) now has DAB selectable and activate the mode.
this is all that I believe it needs which is another hack of the software that we need
the request is already with Pat and the team to see what they can do.FFRR SC 4.2
