Right I'll try and explain this
D3 has no TMC on its touch screen as feed via Most circuit
D3 has a specific TMC module and a diversity aerial
D3 need aerial on the adio media unit to work direct
The D4
Has TMC on the touchScreen
The D4 media radio get it radio via the Most circuit unlike the D3,
Obviously the reason we need a splitter to allow the D4 touch screen to get the TMC as it is not looking to get this via the Most circuit and the D3 media radio needs its normal input via the aerial connection, as it does get it via the Most circuit either.
The units are not programmed to look for the information this way.
I think we're on the same page Robbo, Nubbs and I are thinking that if you connect the antenna to the D4 screen despite not having a TMC module TMC will work as its in the screen.Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Going to try tying it directly to the touchscreen canbus connections only
Got any info on the green 4 pin connections, two must be positive and earth
Brown is the video signal to the touch screen, think it probably used the cam wires input, as venture cam got dropped from the options around this age groupFFRR SC 4.2
Actually, it wasn't one of these. The male end is a double connector, rather than two singles.
Any chance of letting us know where we can get hold of one of the leads you have

To address the brightness issue, I've got some lighting rig gel sheets (plastic coloured sheets) and will be testing three different levels of dimming (it's actually photo light Dimming gel sheets).
Size of the scrren area seems to be 95mm x 159mm (probably 160mm, but that's what I measured anyway)
It could be slightly larger as I think it will sit under the plastic bezel to keep it in place.
It shouldn't make any difference to the touch screen as it's not very thick (0.6).
Will take some pics tonight with it on.
It doesn't help the auto adjust of the brightness with the light levels, but at least it means you're not blinded at night!Bodsys Brake Bible
